Dominance Electricity pres. DAGOBERT & KALSON "Astronauten EP" ...OUT NOW!
 Dominance Electricity presents DAGOBERT & KALSON "Astronauten EP" [DR-046.018]  Electro Astronomie! Nach den galaktischen Global Surveyor 3 und Blastromen Alben, meldet sich Deutschland's "Electrofunk Resistance" Dominance Electricity zurück mit einer deutsch-serbischen Kollaboration zweier außergewöhnlicher Electro-Talente. Dagobert, Dominance-Stammkünstler seit Mitte der 90er, eröffnet seine Hälfte der EP mit einem atmosphärischen Intro und zündet drei verspielt produzierte Electrobreaks-Raketen. Nahtlos knüpft Serbien's Kalson an, der bereits auf Labels wie Das Drehmoment, E75 Records oder Dominance's dritten Teil der Global-Surveyor-Reihe veröffentlichte. Neben seinem Remix von Dagobert's "Astronauten Weltenraum", dem Kernstück des Projektes, liefert Kalson energiegeladene Songs, in denen klassisch melodischer Vocoder-Electrofunk mit Four-to-the-floor Elementen fusioniert. Er schließt die mini-LP mit einem episch cineastischen Ambient-Werk. Für die Gestaltung des Covers zeichnet sich Argentinien's Sci-Fi-Comic-Legende Juan Giménez verantwortlich. Aktiv seit den 1950'ern, ist er z. B. bekannt für seinen Beitrag zum 1981'er Kultfilm "Heavy Metal". Der magische Blick seiner Astronautin reflektiert die für Dominance Electricity typischen verspielt melodiösen Klängwelten und unterstützt den Hörer bei seiner Reise in die Tiefen des Weltalls.  Electro Astronomy! After the galactic Global Surveyor 3 and Blastromen albums, Germany's "Electrofunk Resistance" Dominance Electricity returns with a split EP release showcasing a collaboration of extraordinary German and Serbian Electro talent. Dagobert, a resident Dominance artist since the mid 90s, opens the first half of this EP with a spacey intro and three playful and strongly produced Electrobreaks jams. Following up is Serbia's Kalson who previously released with labels such as Das Drehmoment, E75 Records and on Dominance's 2010 installment of the Global Surveyor series. Next to his remix of Dagobert's "Astronauten Weltenraum", the core track of this collaboration, Kalson delivers two songs fusing classic melodic vocoder Electrofunk with four-to-the-floor elements and closes the release with an epic cinematic ambient piece. The cover artwork is created by the legendary Argentinian sci-fi comic artist Juan Giménez. Active since the 1950s, he is most known for his contribution to the 1981 cult film Heavy Metal. His female astronaut's beautiful sad-eyed face perfectly reflects the Dominance Electricity trademark deep melodic Electro style, and supports sending the listener further into deep space!
