I'd like to thank Matt and all the D-E crew for such a great work on keeping our music alive. You guys rock. I've just received my DBS goodie bag and f***in'loved it. Already had the black vinyl edition. Now got the colored one too, which is awesome. By the way, the hand-carved sticker is alreay on top of my right turntable. Peace yall. Ps: last but not least, congrats to Barack for the nobel victory. We can all live in peace! And we will! TyDoZ_dbs.jpg

  • Yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssssssssssss! Thanks a lot! DJ TyDoZ Quote from Electro Empire;24663: “Thanks to everyone who participated! There has been a total of 93 entries and the 3 lucky winners have now been randomly selected! The correct answer to the question is "Global Surveyor Phase 2". But since about 50% answered "Express To Jupiter" (which is the DBS track on this release) we've let this count as well. AND THE WINNERS ARE - - Jodybot - DJ TyDoZ - peaterse…

  • Man, have received today the Streetsounds 2xLP with this cut. If it wasn't for Exzakt and Electrowax.com, I'd only hear/see it on YouTube. Peace bro! Quote from 155;24145: “Hello DJ TD. My thoughts on the track are based largely on listening to it on a recently released Streestounds cd, and only after repeated listening on a very good domestic audio system. 155 :)”

  • 155, I'm not an audio specialist at all but we gotta acknowledge that You Tube messes up with the audio. I've posted some songs and the audio, even in HD, was partially damaged. Again, I'm not a pro, but the mix seems kinda fine to me. But I do agree with you that I'd lower a little bit some of the synths. Bass Junkie is a pro and he sure got lots of game. Whoa, Newcleus + The B-Boys? Can't wait to hear it! Peace yall. This forum rocks.

If you listen to some of Kurtis Blow's productions you hear the influence quite clearly.” AJ Scratch and Only the Strong Survive have Davy D's vibe, especially the dope beat and the thumpin' bass. Speaking of DMX, one of the songs I love is The Big Beat by Spoonie Gee, a David Reeves production. Big up to DD!!! Shame the audio is not in sync, but worth a try: [YT]<object width="445" height="364"><param name="mo…

  • Does anybody know the synth sample JJ scratched in this tune? We all know that the other one is a James Brown horn snippet. The sample I'm asking was also used by Dynamix II on Just Give the DJ a Break and by 2 Live Crew on Move Somethin'. (Maybe this tune is the source for the aforementioned!) Thanks in advance! Posts like yours help making EE incredible. Man, neva heard this song in my entire life until now. One should notice that living in a third world country in the 80's forced us to dig only limited releases. There was no access to import records and there was no internet. This song should be reissued, cause it's great! Paz, TyDoZ Quote from kaos;21458: “Scandalous that no-one has mentioned the greatest Electro tune of all time : Synergy - Project 5 ”
