Yo, anyone know the name of this track. Its three six mafia. The beat is clearly based off Rodney-O - Everlasting Bass. its almost the same beat to a T...but i cant remember any of the lyrics.
also know for that 808 style hip hop production is
dem franchize boys
pop it off boyz
also dj khaled has some sick production beats......i always wondered how these big hip hop producers get that really big and clean 808 kit sound...it cant be a real 808, its too clean sounding, plus they have the pitched bass drum...any ideas...i know alot of hip hop producers use MPC 's
I don't know if all you guys out side of the U.S. or even outside of the south know about "chopped and screwed" but it originated in the dirty south (Houston,TX) and what it is, is stuttered phrases while the music (usually southern rap music) is pitched real slow. I don't like it myself, (as I don't like southern rap) but I want to play around with that idea with my original music. Tuned down 808 beats sound nice and feel good on the right system.
Big fan of Dirty South shit right here!!!
I love the 808 and super low bass sounds of these tracks:
This track has the super low bass and 808 OUT OF CONTROL...
and on top of that the song is about girls "poppin it" !!!!!!
R.I.P. Pimp C
I noticed none of you mentioned CENTRAL VALLEY style hip hop.. All that hard 808 !!!!!
Most of the music produced by norteno gangs in Salinas and Monterey, as well as some other places in the Bay Area in California!!
This guy Casper locz is soooo dope!!!
This is one of the hardest songs I have ever heard..
"suckas gotta die, gotta die, FUCK L.A."
extremely poor quality vocal production but is still so tyte!!!!!
not really dirty south... but nice instrumental timbaland style beats:
