Legendary Philly rapper Schoolly D together with his original DJ Code Money will rock Athens for the very first time on Friday, October 4!
Support acts include Cypress Junkies (aka Eric Bobo of Cypress Hill and Beastie Boys fame and DJ Rhettmatic of Beat Junkies) and greek electrofunk producer Binalog Frequency!

Oh boy where do I start... In the last couple of days I've had the time of my life hanging out with Schoolly (he's not a man-he's a cartoon for Christ sake!), Code Money (such a sweet person!) and Erik Shazamowitz (a truly great guy who's a very very talented guitarist and constant partner of the duo for the last 20 years). Jesse kicked ass, he was a true LEGEND on stage and looked like time hasn't passed over him (he's 52 years old now!). Some pics from the gig and I promise I come back with more stuff (unfortunately the videos we took suffer from either awful sound or... no sound at all):

Yeah, it was a great night with Schoolly on top form, rapping PSK, Gucci Time and Put Your Filas On like it was 1987! (shame only 200 people showed up though... 
)
With Schoolly it's always "ma brotha this" and "ma brotha that" so I was calling him... ma brotha

Didn't enjoyed this gig in general. Pricey ticket and few people was there. Schooly D performance was a bit cheesy and the sound was better on the support acts than on the main name. He Played about 35 minutes, half of them naked..at least he turned on some teenage girls
Nice they had their quitarist with them though!
Cypress Junkies were maybe the surpise of the night. Never seen them before and they made a very nice performance which i really enjoyed!
