Pioneer DDJ-200: Great buy for a beginner or not?

So I’ve been considering getting the Pioneer DDJ-200 to start off and learn how to mix and eventually pass on to the bigger controller and media player puppies.
I’m a complete beginner and this would be my first controller purchase. And so I’m wondering: is this controller worth it for a complete beginner to learn mixing? What lures me of course is the price tag and I personally like the idea of starting off with a simple controller and mastering that and then moving onto more advanced effects, etc.
