Paul Hardcastle, the grand architect of the first electro sounds in the 80’s, is coming back this autumn under his old skool moniker “Zero One”. After a 25 years roller-coaster career as an accomplished musician and producer, Paul Hardcastle is launching the new album “Zero One” this autumn as a digital release.

Since practically launching the electro dance scene with his” ninininininininininin nineteen” in 1985, Paul Hardcastle has been the inspiration for a whole generation of artists. A revolutionary sound at the time,”19” rocketed to number one on the British charts, and also reached the top spot in 13 different countries.
From his dance club hits of the mid-1980s through to his great achievements in the Jazz world, Paul has maintained an intentionally low profile, while at the same time being the creative force behind projects such as Zero One, Jazz Masters and Kiss the Sky.
In an industry where egos run wild, where individual talent is often dwarfed by individual vanity, Paul Hardcastle stands out as the rare musician who is more comfortable behind the scenes creating music. His most prized “possessions” are still his love of sound experimentation and the synthesizer.
