Would you look at this...

  • I guess it was bound to happen sooner than later. Somebody obviously hijacked a bunch of rips (not 100% sure if they are all his original rips but some of the scans are from other people for sure) from somebody or some forum and posted the full 12in./7in. rips of some really nice electro/rap tunes on a blog. I think this behavior will put a death nail into the coffin of sharing and trading of mp3 rips between people. It really proves you can not trust anybody anymore. Here is the link if you so desire to check it out:

  • Top tip. If you don't like your scans, mp3s etc being ripped off, there's a simple and effective way to stop it - don't let the Germans near your stuff. Block German users if you have a Youtube, blog, website, forum etc and hey presto! You'll find your scans and tracks remain safe amongst friends...

    i honestly don't get it.
what's the problem with this blog?

The problem is a simple one really. They didn't rip the records. These are other peoples rips. It's one thing to post other peoples rips and scans but to do it and not give credit to the original ripper (jimmyjam680, elektrorocker, ej808) is disrespectful. Also when people post comments in the cbox referring to the original rippers who bought the records, spent time encoding and then uploaded the files they get banned and the comments are deleted.

It would also be less insulting if the person who runs the blog also ripped their 12"s and albums (if they own any). A lot of time and money has gone into those shared records that were on a select forum for other enthusiasts who bought records.

  • Yeah mate I agree!! For the record (no pun intended) I have 5 of those vinyls on wax only. Some real rarities in that list :o

Postcode lottery........you're thick if you deny it exists
