myspace and all those platforms are one thing...
but if you dont push labels noses into your music
its likely they'll never hear it.
there are just too many myspace and online music portals
these days to know it all. its a music jungle out there..

Yes, networking should be easy? It is not. To market your art is partly about creating a market and not really about telling the potential buyers you have arrived. Unless you have arrived. No, you'll have to create your own market. Now you'd think. Ok, i'll create my own site/hype. Piece of cake, right. Well it is. If you do it right. Sounds funny right Thing is that that's actually very hard work and takes years. If the idea is right your business will move, in general it'll take time to get your ideas across.
Product innovation is a key to acceleration. But we've seen that. In our sector. Quality, image and public relations is the entry point for enthousiasm. Brands still do sell, but before you get there... Anyway good luck all.

Myspace is very limiting agreed , you will never get heard this way.... well nowadays only by other producers...

But you need to set your sights about getting your stuff out to labels and promoters... Never pay to have your stuff put on albums ever... there are stories circulating of a label charging for stuff to be released.. unbelievable... and almost fraud.

You could send your tunes to me and get them heard on my show, which has been running for over a year now with some success stories as my show is very popular amongst the label owners and well known producers of the nu electro scene
