I thought it started first in Europe in Germany with Kraftwerk? Or were they really from Manchester?
The electroFUNK (hip hop oriented electro music) started in Europe with the UK, maybe Manchester, but not 'Electro' as most know it on here.
And the Mastermind Roadshow is from North London.
and that clip is house music, not 'electro'.
