Crucial 4

    I love Wrong Girls To Play With, especially since I discovered the original vocal version which is killer... What People Do For Money I reallly like, ruined by the over the top female vocals though, much like all MC Chill's stuff..

    ELECTROFUNK is a subsidiary of HIP HOP MUSIC AND CULTURE, don't you forget it suckaz...

    25+ years past it's sell by date in my opinion full of mixed and hammered to death tunes.


    The sleeves ok'ish but that's it the track list lacks imagination and a failure to listen to what tracks
    electro fans would really like to see on a Crucial album.


    i mean are these tunes really Crucial in todays day and age? Comon lets be serious.
    Think i'll wait for City Beat Underground Electro 4 new tunes done in the oldschool style ,or just buy something more current like the new Blastromen album due out on Dominance later this year.

    A piss poor line up, stuff we`ve seen on comps millions of times before, how about something different than line ups that were on similar albums from 30 years ago?

    well this just landed on my doorstep this morning and i must say


    The Mix by mantronik is the worst professional mix ive ever heard and there is a clanger in there that i still cant believe ..

    at least the sleeve artwork is top notch

    Well I'm listening now, and have to admit it's not the best mixing I've ever heard.


    One of the first rules of mixing is not having two vocals over each other, which happens with Monster Beat and Looking For The Perfect Beat.


    It's worth having for CD 1 and the nice colour booklet though.


    And £10 for a double disc is pretty good value.....

    i was gonna buy this for the mantronik mix. just how bad is it? the cover and tracklist look good.
