So in my attempt to get back in the studio full time after moving to a new state, starting a new job, and making a new life, I started 2 new tracks this week.

This is one of them. Unfortunately, I'm afraid my "Idea Well" has run dry. I'm just stuck! It's got a good groove. But beyond that, my mind is just BLANK.

Any suggestions on things to add, change, remove?

Sorry it took me so long to get back. Been busy with work. Dude, that's pretty good too! You still have waaaaay surpassed me. I hope to one day reach your level. Practice and patience, no?

Well, here it is. One of my first "Tracks," if you can even call it that. This is from December of 2007. The original file was deleted in a HDD failure and only one of my original renders survives.

It was made in Reason 3.0. It's funny listening back on this. The levels are WAY off. The structure is weird. It's not even complete, LMAO.

If I had the file and the ability to remake it now - I think it could be pretty dope. It's dark!

Was just thinking about this. I got bored and decided to go through my backup drive. I ended up listening to all my old tracks back to some of my first, from about 4 years ago.

Some were ok, but most were garbage. It's pretty amazing to actually HEAR how far I've come.

So I was just wondering...Do you guys still have your first tunes you made?

Well, today is a sad day guys. My hard drive failed.

I lost EVERYTHING. I guess that's my fault though for not backing it up after someone stole my external at a party.

Anyway, I was Wondering if someone would be able to send me some retro samples, a'la

"BASS!"
"FRESH"
"What did you say!"
"Eins, zwei, drei, feir, funf, secht, seben, acht"

Etc....

The rest of my samples are on CD so that's no biggie. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have Reason? Or do you need 24 Bit WAV. I can do either.

Drum patterns still need some work. They were somewhat place-holders. Been working on diff patterns
